So my favorite photographer, Marilyn Minter, is in town...actually she is from NYC but her work is being displayed at Salon 94 on the LES through June13. Her provacative images of sexy women, particularly the lips region, are overcast with glass, sweat, blood, tears and many other bodily fluids. Dining with the PropHot team on Sunday, it became apparent that I'm not the only one obsessed with this former grade school teacher turned Mae West influenced artistic visionary. May I say that my tattoo obsessed self will be adorning a new piece of art influenced by none other than Miss Minter.
