MadeMe Loves Proposition

Erin Magee, AKA Big Bird, of MadeMe is an up-and-coming superstar in the fashion world. Her women's streetwear label is really dope and she is here to answer just a few questions from Proposition!!

What is the inspiration behind your line? Duhh! I am obsessed with Madonna. Every line has at least one t-shirt inspired by the hottest woman ever!

Where did the label, MadeMe, come from?
I wanted a label that encompassed everything I love, everything that shaped me and made me. I knew there was a need for an upscale women's streetwear brand and everything I make, I would want to wear myself. I love men's streetwear and I wanted to do something for the ladies.

As a lesbian designer, has it been tough working in an industry dominated by men, especially at Supreme? I own those boys! Just kidding. I actually love working at Supreme and feel that the company has shaped me and inspired me. Because of their vision in men's streetwear, the inception of MadeMe was formed.

What's in store for MadeMe? Well, I plan on supporting Proposition for sure. I am sponsoring the party and am giving away gift bags at the next event to some lucky ladies. I am working on my line for the fall and it is constant work for me at the moment but I love it.
