Marilyn Minter is the Coolest!

So my favorite photographer, Marilyn Minter, is in town...actually she is from NYC but her work is being displayed at Salon 94 on the LES through June13. Check out http://www.salon94.com/index.htm for more dets!  Her provacative images of sexy women, particularly the lips region, are overcast with glass, sweat, blood, tears and many other bodily fluids.  Dining with the PropHot team on Sunday, it became apparent that I'm not the only one obsessed with this former grade school teacher turned Mae West influenced artistic visionary.  May I say that my tattoo obsessed self will be adorning a new piece of art influenced by none other than Miss Minter.

Jeremy Scott Rocks My World!

My fav fashion designer, Jeremy Scott, stole his hair design from little ole moi!  Ok, I take that back, maybe I stole it from him but whatevs...he rocks. Not accepted into FIT or Parsons, Scott went on to graduate from Pratt and has since rocked the fashion world and inspired many to create their own independent label.  Out and Proud, Scott rocks the LA club scene.  Jeremy, if you read this, please swing by Kion, NYC's most fashionable lesbo party...we love gay boys too, especially ones that create dope ass clothes!

Best Advice For Denying a Proposition.

So I'm chillin with my friend Lindsay, pictured below, and we start this convo about what to do when girls want the digits and we just don't wanna give 'em up! I was telling her that I typically don't want to hurt their feelings so I usually give up my phone number, although begrudgingly. Our friend gave us some stellar advice...not so much! Her theory was to give them the wrong phone number; a totally crazy idea due to the fact that the next time you run into the beotch, she's gonna asked why some dude from Zimbabwe answered the phone. But Lindsay, dear Lindsay, nailed it on the head! She said when the beotches be knocking and she doesn't want to answer, she simply programs their number as "fuck no," "hell no," "shit no," "God no," shall I go on or do we all get the point? Since you can't program in "fuck no" over and over again, she has to keep switching up the names. She seems to get a lot of numbers...I better take some lessons!
